Tony Keady RIP   11/08/2017

It is with great sadness that we are informed of the death of Tony Keady, who passed away on Wednesday. The Killimordaly man and his family had made their home in Oranmore. Our thoughts and prayers go out his wife Margaret, daughter Shannon, sons Anthony, Jake and Harry, his extended family and wide circle of friends.

Through his work in Calasanctius College, Oranmore Tony had an input to nearly every hurling team that passed through the school and helped coach many a hurler. In recent years he became involved in the club as his children grew and was a constant sight at the pitches in Oranmore and Maree and indeed all over the County. Tony will be remembered for his hurling ability but anyone who knew him will remember his personality, his laugh and his smile.

The family at this difficult time, have made an unbelievable gesture in asking In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Oranmore-Maree GAA Grounds at Rinville development fund. It is a gesture that epitomises the Keady family and something that will never be forgotten.
