The Galway Mental Health Awareness Cycle takes place on April 18th commencing from Oranmore Community Centre.
Open to all, this peloton-style community event is about raising awareness, breaking stigma, and sending a powerful message: there is no shame in asking for help. Too many people are silently battling mental health difficulties.
Through this event, we encourage open conversations and remind those who may be struggling that support is available.
We are especially committed to encouraging men to speak up. Tragically, 2 out of every 3 suicides are male. By coming together, we can help challenge that silence and create a culture where reaching out is seen as strength, not weakness.
