Congratulations to Maree Basketball club who became the first team in Galway to win the National Cup last night. Its the first time since 1996 that the Pat Duffy cup has crossed the Shannon. It was great to see so many people from our parish supporting the the lads last night.

The team are due back in Oranmore around 3.30 this afternoon before heading up to Maree for a reception. It would be great to see as many bonfires on the Route.
