Connacht LGFA Club 7’s - Senior Runners Up

Congratulations to the Naomh Mhuire Senior Footballers who finished runners-up in the Connacht Club Senior 7’s competition at the COE in Bekan on Saturday.

This was a first foray in 7’s for the Senior ladies with their only loss in the competition coming in the final against Kilkerrin Clonberne.

3 wins against Dunmore McHales, Westport & Tuam Cortoon & a draw against Maigh Cuilinn put them into the Cup final against tournament favorites Kilkerrin Clonberne.

While only 1 point in arrears at half time, the day's exertions took their toll with Kilkerrin Clonberne pulling away to run out deserved winners in the end.

Thanks to the team mentors, physio & supporters who traveled.

Finally, well done to the squad on the day who continue to be brilliant representatives of our club.
