Enter the ORANMORE/MAREE ONE-CLUB Design a crest competition Competition
• Oranmore/Maree are one of the first clubs in Galway to embrace the “One-Club” concept.
• The next step on our One-Club journey would be to amalgamate the 3 club crests and design a stand alone crest for the One Club and we want it to be designed by the young people of Oranmore-Maree.
• To find the best one we are running a simple design competition, with some great prizes.
How to Enter
• Please provide the Crest design, plus a short paragraph to explain the thinking behind the design.
• The full assignment and design copyright will be owned by the organization who the submission was submitted to. [Oranmore/Maree GAA club]
• Please include just the crest and short description in the entry. No tag line, strap line, or equivalent is required.
• No use of Crests, or components of logos, or branding from the other clubs/organizations. The Crest must also not be a replica or breach copyright of existing brands/crests or logos. (Where entries accidentally use copyright components from other brands and logos, they will not be used in final logo – regardless of outcome of competition)
• The entries will be invited in a PDF, JPEG, PNG, format. We are looking for the best idea and concept for the logo, so the design work does not need to be fully finished,
• Hand drawn design work is equally welcome. Entry forms will be available in all local schools
• To help the organizers please make sure to include your school, class, teacher [for national schools] and contact information [for Calasanctius college students] :
• Individuals, teams, colleges, schools are not limited to the number of applications.
Submitting your Entry
• Submit your entry to oneclubcomp@gmail.com or via ClubZap
• Submissions must be made by Midnight on Monday 31st July 2023. Entries after this time will not be counted.
• The winner from each category will be announced on the resumption of the school year in September 2023.

Winners and Prizes
• There will be 4 finalists, one from each category.
• Each of the 4 Category winners will be awarded with €100 vouchers for our play-r-fit club shop
• The overall winner will have a refinement process with our design team to finalize the winning crest design
