A very exciting trip for the 28 u9 hurlers and their coaches & parents from the club who travelled to play in the annual Kilmacud Crokes Festival of Hurling in UCD.

A total of 8 clubs from all over Ireland descended on DCU fielding 24 teams took part.

Oranmore Maree had 2 teams participating. Despite losing one of our opening games to Na Piarshigh, our boys won all remaining group games against teams from Dicksboro, James Stephens & 3 different Kilmacud Crokes teams.

Our boys played the 1A & 2A Finale Games against another Dicksboro team & Newtonshandrum but lost out despite some exceptional performances in very windy weather.

Many thanks to Grealy Stores who generously provided drinks and fruit for the bus journey to Dublin.
