Folks,

In a major step towards commencing Phase I of the Renville Project, today we launched the tender on eTenders for the Main Works Contract. It will take a good few weeks to complete the tendering process and to obtain the various approvals required to proceed, but hopefully we will have diggers working on the site before long.

In further good news, note that we also got the initial planning permission this week from Galway County Council for our planning application for dressing rooms for the project. This will be a key development to undertake in the next phase of the project.

In further news, just before Christmas we launched a dedicated website for the project - https://www.renvillesportsgrounds.ie/ - this will be used to publish ongoing updates as the project develops, including pictures and videos of the work.

As we commence the Phase I works, fundraising will be critical to the success of the project - our main fundraiser for Phase I is the Patron’s Wall Fundraiser and your support for this is vital to making a success of this state-of-the-art development for the club and wider community.
