Our U14s had a memorable comeback victory against Kilconieron in the Cup Semi Final last Saturday evening.

Kilconieron led by 11 points with 15 minutes remaining and all looked lost. However, led by our captain Molly Duffy the girls slowly managed to get some possession and 3 quick goals from Mila Hynes gave some hope to proceedings.

In injury time both Isabella Lawlor and Caoimhe Coleman courageously denied a goal line chance for Kilconieron to keep the game alive.

With the last play of the game up stepped Emily Keady who bravely managed to get the ball over the line to ensure a 1 point win.

The girls now meet Sarsfields in the Cup Final on Friday 19th July in Duggan Park.
