Our Minor A footballers will take centre stage this Sunday 6th October with a championship semi final v Corofin at the Oranmore Community pitch, throw in 13.30 (1:30pm).
To get this far the boys have played 7 matches, winning 6 and drawing one.
The campaign started away on June 28th with a draw game v Claregalway. Matches have followed every fortnight against various opponents...we travelled to Dunmore and Tuam Stars and hosted Salthill Knocknacarra, Moycullen, Corofin and Barna.
The boys have worked really hard to get this far. They know and appreciate the challenge that Corofin will bring. It's an opportunity to qualify for a county Minor A football final.
The fact that the match is being played on our home ground affords supporters the opportunity to come and see a top class game of football. We know the boys would welcome a show of support.
Míle buíochas to Dave Raftery of H+R Heating and Plumbing for sponsoring our training kit. It is much appreciated.
