Naomh Mhuire Oranmore Maree Gaelic 4 Mothers & Others team was established in 2014, and over the past 11 years, they have grown stronger each year. Training will begin on the grass pitch behind Oranmore Church on Mondays at 8pm starting April 14th.
Currently, the team is training indoors at the Maree Indoor Astro and continuing their strength and conditioning program at the Maree Gym on Tuesdays. Under the guidance of manager Ed Shiels, the team is gearing up for the upcoming season. With the Connacht blitz and National blitz taking place in June and September, along with local matches throughout the year, it promises to be an exciting season.
This year, the team has some thrilling news to share: Out of 352 teams that applied for the 2025 Barcelona Gaels tournament, we were selected as one of the 10 teams to participate in the event in November. Twenty players have committed to the trip, and the excitement is growing!
