Social Camogie has emerged as an important initiative within the camogie community, providing women with the opportunity to participate in the sport in a structured yet non-competitive environment.
By prioritising inclusion, enjoyment, and participation, Social Camogie supports players not only in their athletic development but also in their social and mental wellbeing. In 2025 there were 56 teams in the 32 counties fully registered to take part in Social Camogie.
This year, Oranmore Maree GAA One Club are looking for expressions of interest from former players, from women who have never played camogie but would love to learn a new skill and be part of a team where the emphasis is on participation and fun.
If you are interested in playing social camogie, please email secretary.oranmoremaree.galway@camogie.ie or please complete the expression of interest form
