On Monday, Naomh Mhuire U15s proudly contested the 2026 Galway LGFA Division 1 Féile.

The girls came through a very tough Division One group with excellent wins over Salthill/Knocknacarra and Moycullen. They followed that up with a superb semi-final performance against a strong Corofin side, showing real determination, skill, and teamwork throughout the day.

While we once again met an exceptional Claregalway team in the final and fell short, this should not take away from what was a fantastic effort and a hugely positive day for this group.

The commitment shown by the girls over the past number of weeks has been outstanding. Just as importantly, the respect, sportsmanship, and togetherness they displayed on finals day reflects so well on themselves, their families, and the club.

Attention now turns to supporting the girls as they prepare for the Camogie Féile – we wish them the very best of luck
